Armadillidium granulatum ‘Lemon’ is a Armadillidium variety with a brownish/gray basis, instead of dark gray of the common Armadillidium granulatum. With small populations they are relatively shy. They are not difficult to care for and once they establish they breed well. With large numbers they are both day and night active. They don’t like to be sprayed upon directly. Pour water on the sides of the enclosure instead.

Size: adults may reach a length of 25 mm.
Activity: day; night; early morning.
Terrarium: keep ⅓ with moss, pieces of rotting white wood and also decaying leaves. Check out also our premium substrate.
Temperature: 17 – 26°C
Humidity: 50 – 70%
Diet: fruits, veggies, greens, fish-food, decaying leaves, white rotting wood, molting of invertebrates and reptiles. And 2x times a week provide a source of protein. Be sure to check out our Protein mix foods. Also don’t forget a calcium source (cuttlefish bone, limestone & oyster seashell, limestone rock) to keep them healthy.
Difficulty: relatively easy
Reproduction rate: fair; with large numbers prolific.
