Porcellio magnificus. These orange spanish giants are truly stunning and quite territorial! They often walk around with their uropods lifted, like territorial dogs 😀 And the females may chase and bite males! Armadillidium espanyoli ‘Marbleized’ is a small size, adorable tricolor Armadillidium species 🥰. Their weak point is that they take like forever to grow a stable breeding colony. Merulanella sp. ‘Blister’! 😍 NEW isopods project: Armadillidium depressum ‘Black Hole’! Everything on these (huge) guys is jet black 😍. NEW isopods project: I have isolated the ember bees merulanella with the most amount of high red color! 😍 ( HRCF = High Red Color Form ). Cubaris sp. ‘Orange Tiger Surat Thani’ is a large and beautiful Cubaris isopod with a tiger pattern. There’s a lot of diversity in color and pattern however, with individuals appearing with less or almost lacking dark patterning. It was initially collected in the Surat Thani province, in Thailand. New isopods project: Armadillidium pallasii ‘Glacier’; isolating the A. pallasii ‘Orange’ that are almost solid white! Armadillidium tunisiense 🥰 A small isopod from Tunisia that was relatively recently described, in 2007, by Hamaïed & Charfi-Cheikhrouha. It has a beautiful black pattern on a sand-color body. New isopods project: Porcellio scaber 'Ghost Piebald'
