Cubaris sp. ‘Blonde Ducky’ (sometimes also called ‘Blonde Rubber Ducky’), is a cute Cubaris color morph with light yellow head and tail and the rest of their body is a vivid yellowish orange. As the isopods age the light yellow color on their face and tail begins to show. They are similar in size and body type to the Cubaris sp. ‘Lemon Blue’, thus it’s a large Cubaris isopod.

Size: adults may reach a length of 20 mm.
Activity: anytime; mostly night active.
Terrarium: keep ⅓ moist with moss, pieces of white rotten wood and also decaying leaves. Check out also our ultra premium substrate and premium substrate.
Temperature: 22 – 28°C
Humidity: 60 – 80%.
Diet: fruits, veggies, greens, fish-food, decaying leaves, white rotten wood, mushrooms, molting of invertebrates and reptiles. As most Cubaris isopods they also love forest moss and lichen. They will enjoy a slightly higher protein-based diet, at least 2x times a week. Be sure to check out our Cubaris protein boost.
