Armadillo officinalis ‘Pink’ is the pink color morph of the common Armadillo officinalis isopods. Armadillo officinalis ‘Pink’ isopods are easy to keep and breed. Some individuals are whiter and some more pink. When they are scared they conglobate to a perfect ball!
Armadillo officinalis ‘Pink’, isopod care
Size: adults may reach a length of 20 mm.
Activity: night; early morning.
Terrarium: keep ⅔ moist with moss, pieces of tree bark or cork bark and also decaying leaves. Check out also our premium substrate and ultra premium substrate.
Temperature: 15 – 28°C
Humidity: 55 – 70%; they are adaptable.
Diet: fruits, veggies, greens, fish-food, forest moss, lichen, gammarus shrimp, bat guano, decaying leaves, white rotten wood, molting of invertebrates and reptiles. They will enjoy a slightly higher protein-based diet, at least 2x times a week. Be sure to check out our Protein mix foods.
