Armadillidium badium are easy to care for isopods and they are fairly prolific. In large numbers they are both day and night active. This is a yellow mix, with high variability in colors, from almost solid yellow to brown with yellow stripes. Currently limited availability.

Size: adults may reach a length of 18 mm.
Activity: night; early morning
Terrarium: keep ⅓ moist with moss, pieces of tree bark or cork bark and also decaying leaves. Check out also our premium substrate and ultra premium substrate.
Temperature: 17 – 28°C
Humidity: 50 – 60%
Diet: fruits, veggies, greens, fish-food, gammarus shrimp, forest moss, lichen, decaying leaves, white rotten wood, molting of invertebrates and reptiles.
