Trachelipus trilobatus is a medium size flat isopod from Romania. It somewhat resembles the Porcellio spatulatus βCorosβ but this one is smaller and with solid colors, without markings. Itβs a beautiful and easy isopod to keep and breed.

Size: adults may reach a total length of 24 mm.
Activity: night; early morning.
Terrarium: I keep them a little wetter than the Spanish Porcellio isopods. Thus, β
moist at all times, with forest moss, pieces of rotting white wood and decaying leaves.
Temperature: 15 β 26Β°C
Humidity: 50 β 65%
Diet: fruits, veggies, greens, fish-food, decaying leaves, rotting white wood, mushrooms, molting of invertebrates and reptiles. This large and secretive isopod requires protein as well, at least 2x each week. For alternative sources of protein be sure to check out our Protein mix foods.
