Spherillo sp. ‘Dream’ is a beautiful and rarely offered isopod from Vietnam. Formerly (falsely) known as: Cubaris sp. ‘Dream’; Cubaris sp. ‘Shrub’; Dryadillo sp. ‘Dream’; Isopoda sp. ‘Dream’; Isopoda sp. ‘Shrub’; Merulanella sp. ‘Dream’. It was given the trade name “dream” due to its colorfully spotted appearance. Their colors range from almost white, to almost yellow, to light brown, to gray-green, to dark brown, with multiple yellow spots and dots, usually in two rows. Thus, they have a wide diversity in colors.

Size: adults may reach a length of 15 mm.
Activity: mostly night active.
Terrarium: keep ⅔ moist with forest moss, pieces of rotting white wood and also lots of decaying leaves. Check out also our premium substrate.
Temperature: 24 – 28°C
Humidity: 55 – 70%; they are adaptable. Even though they like high humidity, although they will suffer ( and even die) with extremely high humidity. They also require good ventilation.
Diet: fruits, veggies, greens, fish-food, forest moss, lichen, gammarus shrimp, decaying leaves, rotting white wood, molting of invertebrates and reptiles. Also don’t forget a calcium source (cuttlefish bone, limestone & oyster seashell, limestone rock) to keep them healthy.
Difficulty: moderate to challenging.
Reproduction rate: moderate to slow.
Growth rate: moderate.
