Armadillo officinalis ‘Pink Dalmatian’ isopods are isolated from the Armadillo officinalis ‘Pink’ color morph. They have random pink spots on a pink/white body. These Dalmatians are easy to keep and breed. Some individuals have a whiter and some others a more pink color base. As with all Armadillo officinalis isopods, when they are scared they conglobate to a perfect ball!

Size: adults may reach a length of 22 to 23 mm. These are giants!
Activity: night; early morning.
Terrarium: keep ⅔ moist with moss, pieces of rotting white wood and also decaying leaves. Check out also our premium substrate.
Temperature: 15 – 28°C
Humidity: 55 – 70%; they are adaptable.
Diet: fruits, veggies, greens, fish-food, decaying leaves, rotting white wood, lichen, molting of invertebrates and reptiles. They will enjoy a slightly higher protein-based diet, at least 2x times a week. Be sure to check out our Protein mix foods. Also don’t forget a calcium source (cuttlefish bone, limestone & oyster seashell, limestone rock) to keep them healthy.
Difficulty: easy.
Reproduction rate: prolific.
Growth rate: slow.
