Armadillidium germanicum is a beautiful Armadillidium species from northern Italy. Adige Valley is one of the known locations of this isopod, but actually the species is quite widespread. The single line of yellow dots across its back, and the glossy appearance makes this isopod really stand out among many other Armadillidium species.

Size: adults may reach a length of 12 – 16 mm.
