FAQ
What is the difference between the three āMagic Potionsā (A. granulatum āMagic Potionā, A. depressum āMagic Potionā, A. vulgare āMagic Potionā)? And what is more beautiful?
These three are three different isopod species with different characteristics that all three have the expression of the dalmatian gene. The Armadillidium depressum āMagic Potionā has that crystalline translucent pearl effect, that really stands out. The Armadillidium granulatum āMagic Potionā has a more opaque white color, making their white tone a vivid snow-white color. The Armadillidium vulgare āMagic Potionā has a less opaque white tone, and the ribbed pattern, which is a common characteristic of the A. vulgare isopod, makes it also stand out. Therefore I find all three beautiful, on their own aspect.
I would like the largest, boldest, and they donāt need to be the fastest breeders as I am more interested in them being easily visible pets.
All three āMagic Potionsā (A. depressum āMagic Potionā, A. granulatum āMagic Potionā, A. vulgare āMagic Potionā) are easy to take care for and the fastest breeders, in order of most prolific are: 1) A. depressum, 2) A. vulgare, 3) A. granulatum.
In terms of most bolder, I really like how easy-going A. depressum āMagic Potionā are! They really donāt go skittish like most other isopods and they display a rather pacific behavior. The other two species are about the same, in terms of boldness.
Regarding sizes: the largest is A. granulatum MP followed by A. depressum MP and lastly A. vulgare MP.
