Meet the “Fluffy Corfu”—one of the most charming and sought-after rarities in the isopod hobby! As its name suggests, Trichodillidium pubescens is a unique species of pill woodlouse famous for its highly textured, fuzzy appearance. Hailing from the beautiful Mediterranean island of Corfu, this small-bodied isopod is a fantastic addition for keepers looking for something visually distinct and uncommon.
Unlike the smooth, glossy armor of many standard pillbugs, the Fluffy Corfu is covered in fine, hair-like structures (setae) that give it a beautifully matte, “fluffy” look.

Size: adults may reach a length of 12 mm.
Activity: mostly night active.
Terrarium: keep ½ moist with forest moss, pieces of tree bark or cork bark and also decaying leaves. Check out also our premium substrate and ultra premium substrate.
Temperature: 22 – 28°C
Humidity: 60 – 80%
Diet: fruits, veggies, greens, fish-food, forest moss, lichen, gammarus shrimp, decaying leaves, white rotten wood, molting of invertebrates and reptiles. They will enjoy a slightly higher protein-based diet, at least 2x times a week. Be sure to check out our Protein mix foods. Also don’t forget a calcium source (calcium triple boost, cuttlefish bone, limestone & oyster seashell, limestone rock) to keep them healthy.
