Cubaris sp. ‘Penguin’ is a common entry level Cubaris isopod that is easy to care for, and thus it is suitable for beginners. It is rather shy and secretive and it might take a little time to establish a stable breeding colony. I have also seen it as ‘White Side’ and ‘Pinguin’.

Activity: mostly night active.

Humidity: 55 – 70%; they are adaptable.
Diet: fruits, veggies, greens, fish-food, forest moss, decaying leaves, lichen, rotting white wood, molting of invertebrates and reptiles.
