Size: adults may reach a length of 20 mm.
Activity: night; early morning.
Terrarium: keep ⅓ moist with moss, pieces of tree bark or cork bark and also decaying leaves. When this Cubaris species is kept in an isopodarium with the right humidity gradient and enough ventilation, problems are not likely to arise. Humidity: 60 – 70%; they don’t like it too dry.
Diet: fruits, veggies, greens, fish-food, forest moss, lichen, gammarus shrimp, decaying leaves, white rotten wood, molting of invertebrates and reptiles. These are two different isopod species. With different characteristics, colors and size. Rubber duckies are about 60% larger than Jupiters. Plus, the Jupiters don’t have the typical “ducky” face. That is a unique characteristic of the rubber duckies.

These are two different isopod species. With different characteristics and different colors. Cubaris Lemon Blue have a thick yellow “skirt” from the front to the back.
