Cubaris sp. ‘Blue Pigeon’ is a small to medium size isopod originating in Thailand. When light shines upon them, their back flashes a bluish color, hence the name of this Cubaris isopod. The older the isopods the bolder the colors.
Cubaris spec. ‘Blue Pigeon’ are not difficult to keep and breed, they just need some time (about three to four months) to establish a stable breeding colony.

Size: adults may reach a length of 15 mm.
Activity: mostly night active.

Humidity: 55 – 65%
Diet: fruits, veggies, greens, fish-food, forest moss, lichen, gammarus shrimp, decaying leaves, white rotten wood, molting of invertebrates and reptiles.
