Cubaris sp. ‘Thai Angel Blue’ is a medium to relatively large size isopod that is easy to keep and breed. At first I thought “blue” was an exaggeration, but when my own isopods reached adulthood, then their blue beauty appeared! 😍💙🩵💙 However, it’s a Cubaris isopod with variable coloration, ranging from white, to white-blue, white-grey, cream and even slightly orange. Also, as you can see in the photo, this isopod is one of the few isopods with the unique characteristic of reflecting a stunning electric blue color under UV light! UV-365 nm specifically.
