Cubaris sp. ‘Red Edge Albino’ is the albino morph of the red edge Cubaris isopods. As with other albino isopods, it has red eyes . They are rarely offered in the market, and their large size adds up to the benefit of having those beauties.

Cubaris sp. ‘Red Edge Albino’, isopod care

Size: adults may reach a length of 20 mm.
Activity: mostly night active.
Terrarium: keep ⅓ moist with moss, pieces of tree bark or cork bark and also decaying leaves. Check out also our premium substrate and ultra premium substrate.
Temperature: 24 – 28°C
Humidity: 55 – 70%
Diet: fruits, veggies, greens, fish-food, forest moss, lichen, gammarus shrimp, decaying leaves, white rotten wood, molting of invertebrates and reptiles. They will enjoy a slightly higher protein-based diet, at least 2x times a week. Be sure to check out our Protein mix foods. Also don’t forget a calcium source (calcium triple boost, cuttlefish bone, limestone & oyster seashell, limestone rock) to keep them healthy.
