Description
Ideal for containers housing isopods, millipedes, mantis, spiders, jumping spiders, tarantulas, phasmids, beetles, snails, grasshoppers, katydids & other invertebrates, reptiles & amphibians (geckos, dart frogs, salamanders).
An ideal enclosure for isopods that require air flow, such as Porcellio bolivari, Porcellio nicklesi and others, would benefit from 4 air vents on each side of the container, so that the draft generated from the opposite openings provide adequate air flow. For other isopods 3 ventilation grilles could be used: two on the drier side and one on the more humid side of the container.
An ideal enclosure for a tarantula may have 1 or more ventilation grilles on the container.
An ideal enclosure for millipedes should have 2 ventilation grilles placed on the lid, and on the opposite sides of the container, so that humidity can build up more easily on the inside.
An ideal enclosure for a jumping spider may have 1 or more ventilation grilles on the container.
